Fort Battles - Defense/Attack

Today was an interesting day as Order continued to push Empire/Chaos zone to get to the to The Maw while a couple Destruction WB were pushing High Elves/Dark Elves zone to get to Fell Landing. A bunch of pugs were trying to defend against the onslaught of Order in Chaos Waste but with no luck at all. I manage to secure 1 Battle Objective but with me and a couple of people really only organize in this zone we couldn't go up against the 2-3+ WB they had zerging around and defending. Meanwhile, DW was flipped to Eataine and the battle continues to see who would make it to the fort. Chaos Waste VP stayed at 96 and Eataine VP was at 92 then after a few SC quickly became 95. Some Order players decided that they didn't want to wait for the flip so went ahead and started taking the doors down "before" the zone was opened. Needless to say they got all the way to the bottum of the Keep Lord's room and about 1 WB was guarding the entrance to The Maw from IC. With only about 2-3 groups of defenders that was currently up in the Keep Lord's room this was looking sad and bad indeed. CW zone soon flipped with Eataine close to flipping. The Maw Fortress was opened! Gates resset and the majority of Destruction was steam rolling ahead to The Maw. We rallied at the balcony under the Keep Lord's Room. Order was putting into effect one of the manuevers that was used on them, yes, they were blocking the doorways into the room. This was first seen and used by Ebonlore under the command of Axem. But.... even with this strategy tanks were pushing through, swords were swinging, and AOE was in effect. After a minute or so Order was thining down and were cornering them. They were pushed into a corner of the room and slaughtered. Indeed, it was a gruesome but glorious sight! As I look at all the Order corpses I pondered and think... "Cheaters never prosper!"
